Some journeys are as memorable as the destination, and the run up to Perth was exactly that. Our couple travelled in the white Beauford Tourer, the 1930s-style convertible that suits an open summer's day so well. With the weather kind and not a drop of rain in sight, it was the ideal car for the occasion.
The chat along the way was easy and full of laughter. Our newlyweds were bursting with joy, and it made for one of those drives that passes far too quickly. There is something about a longer journey that lets a couple settle into the day, take a breath together, and simply enjoy the moment before everything begins.
Arriving at Bachilton Barn
This was our first visit to Bachilton Barn, and it made a real impression. The scene was set beautifully as we pulled in, the sunshine showing off the farm at its best. We loved the cottages on site for guests to stay in, and the yurts for the children were a lovely touch. There was plenty to like about the whole place.
The Beauford felt right at home against the rural setting, its open top and classic lines fitting the surroundings perfectly. Warm weather, a convertible and a venue with genuine character make for a combination that is hard to beat.
From the drive up to the arrival at the barn, it was a day of good spirits and easy smiles. Our congratulations go to the happy couple on a wedding that came together beautifully in the Perthshire countryside.
