A small Glasgow fleet,
kept properly.

Coopers Wedding Cars has been hiring chauffeured wedding cars to couples across Glasgow since 2008, run from 47 Craigievar Avenue, G33 5DF by John Cooper. Five cars. One owner. No franchises, no white-labelling, no chauffeur agency middlemen — when you book, John (or his nephew) is the person driving you.

The fleet has been deliberately kept small. Two Chrysler Baby Bentleys (pearl white, Bentley-style grilles, four seats) cover most traditional weddings — bride in one, bridesmaids or parents in the other. A black Mercedes E-Class handles modern-style weddings. A 1930s-style Beauford Tourer with the top down covers the slow drive into the venue (Glasgow weather permitting). And a 16-seat luxury minibus handles wedding-party transfers and evening guest shuttles.

Each car is owned outright, maintained directly, and only ever booked one wedding at a time. No sub-contracting out to a different car if the one you booked is double-booked elsewhere — the diary works because the fleet is small enough to actually manage. The ribbons match the bouquets, a complimentary bottle of bubbly is in the main car for the bride and groom, the driver wears a proper suit, and the car is at the pickup location fifteen minutes before the booked time. Always.

What we cover.

The home patch is Glasgow — every postcode from G1 to G77, the West End, Southside, Pollokshields, Bearsden, Newton Mearns, Bishopbriggs, the lot. Beyond the city limits the cars regularly run to venues across Lanarkshire (Hamilton, Motherwell, Bothwell, Strathaven), Renfrewshire (Paisley, Howwood, Bishopton), East Dunbartonshire, West Dunbartonshire (Loch Lomond venues), and into Ayrshire.

The first 50 miles of any booking are included; beyond that we charge £25 per 25-mile band, which is normally enough to cover most Central Scotland venues without a surcharge at all.

How booking works.

The whole booking flow takes about five minutes online. Pick the date, pick the cars (you'll only see what's actually free), give the route, pay a £50 per car deposit to hold the date. Balance is due 30 days before the wedding. Within the first 14 days of booking (and at least 48 hours before the wedding) you get a full refund if you change your mind — see the terms for the full policy.
