1. Who we are

Coopers Wedding Cars is a wedding car hire company based at 47 Craigievar Avenue, Glasgow G33 5DF, operating across Glasgow and central Scotland. You can contact us at info@CoopersWeddingCars.co.uk.

2. Booking & deposit

When you book, a non-refundable deposit of £50 per car secures your wedding date and the car(s) you've chosen. No other booking can take that slot once the deposit is paid.

The remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding. We'll email you a reminder a few days before it's due.

3. 14-day cooling off period

We give you 14 days from the moment you book to change your mind for any reason. If you cancel inside that window we refund everything you've paid, including the £50 per-car deposit.

The only exception: if your wedding date itself is less than 48 hours away when you try to cancel, the cooling off period no longer applies — we can't resell a slot that close to the date.

Wedding services are technically exempt from the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 cooling-off rights because they're booked for a specific date. We offer this window anyway as a goodwill policy.

4. Cancellations outside the cooling off period

• More than 30 days before the wedding: we refund everything paid minus the £50 per-car deposit.
• Within 30 days of the wedding: no refund, as by this point we've declined other enquiries for your date.

Cancel through your booking portal using the link in your confirmation email, or email us directly.

5. Changes to your booking

Times, addresses, and the number of cars can be changed up to 30 days before the wedding subject to availability. Adding a second car after the initial booking is charged at the published rate. Removing a car more than 30 days out refunds the paid amount minus the £50 deposit for that car. Inside 30 days, no refund for removed cars.

6. What's included

• A fully chauffeured car (or cars) for the service period you've booked.
• Ribbons and silk flowers on the car.
• Complimentary bubbly for the bride & groom in the main car.
• Your first 50 miles of driving, included in the base price.
• Arrival 15 minutes before your pick-up time.

7. Mileage

Up to 50 miles of driving is included. Beyond 50 miles, a mileage surcharge is added in 25-mile bands at £25 per band per car. The surcharge is calculated from the addresses you provide at booking — if the route materially changes, we'll let you know before charging any difference.

8. Delays & conditions beyond our control

We arrive 15 minutes early to every pick-up as standard. If a vehicle breakdown, road closure, or severe weather prevents us from getting to you, we'll do everything we can to provide an equivalent replacement car. If we cannot provide any car, you'll receive a full refund of what you paid for that car.

9. Customer conduct

The cars are spotless when they arrive. Please treat them the same way. Smoking is not permitted in any vehicle. If the car returns with damage or soiling caused by the wedding party, reasonable cleaning or repair costs may be charged. We'll always discuss any such charge with you first.

10. Payment & security

Payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal. We never see or store your card details. All transactions are encrypted in transit.

11. Privacy

We only collect the information we need to fulfil your booking: name, email, phone number, wedding date, and the addresses involved in the route. We do not share your details with anyone outside the company except the drivers assigned to your wedding.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Scots law. Any dispute not resolved directly with us can be brought before the courts of Scotland.
