The morning began with our chauffeur Andy collecting the father of the bride, Derek, from the Hilton Hotel. From there he made his way to Julie's home, where she was waiting with the classic white Beauford Tourer ready outside.
Father and daughter
With Derek and Julie settled in the Beauford, Andy drove the pair to The Town House for the ceremony. There is something quietly special about a father and daughter travelling together in an open-topped convertible, and with the weather staying kind all day, it was exactly the arrival they had hoped for.
From ceremony to celebration
After the vows, Julie and Gary — now married — took a short trip down to the park for photographs, making the most of the dry September light. The Beauford, with its 1930s styling, ribbons and silk flowers, gave the pictures a timeless feel that suited the couple perfectly.
From there it was on to the main event: Hamilton Race Course. Beautiful wedding venues, and that is precisely what made it theirs. Andy delivered the newlyweds in style, and the day carried on at the races with the celebration in full swing.
From the first pick-up at the Hilton to the final drop-off trackside, the aim was to keep everything calm and unhurried so Julie and Gary could simply enjoy each moment. The rain stayed off, the timings ran smoothly, and the white Beauford tied the whole day together.
