Boclair House Hotel is one of our favourite venues, so we were delighted to be part of Erin and Sam's day there in the middle of July. With the summer heat at its peak, the two silver Baby Bentleys arrived polished and ready, ribbons on and bubbly waiting.
A morning with a twist
When Andy pulled up to collect the bridal party, he was met with a scene that briefly threw him: not a wedding dress in sight. Erin and her three bridesmaids climbed aboard in their dressing gowns and pyjamas, glasses of bubbly in hand, quite unbothered by the blistering heat.
The secret was simple. All the attire was already waiting for them at Boclair House Hotel, hanging ready for the girls to change into once they arrived. It made for a relaxed, cheerful start to the morning, and it gave the whole party the chance to settle in and enjoy the journey rather than fuss over creases in the car.
The grooms party
At the same time, Stevie was looking after the grooms in the second Baby Bentley. Sam and his party looked every bit the part in their kilts, and there was a lovely sense of occasion as both silver cars made their way to the venue.
Having two matching Chrysler Baby Bentleys meant the two halves of the wedding could travel in style and arrive in good time, with a chauffeur assigned to each group and everything running to plan.
By the time everyone reached Boclair House Hotel, the pyjamas were swapped for the wedding attire, and the day carried on beautifully in the summer sunshine. It was a genuine pleasure to be trusted with such a happy, easy-going morning.
Congratulations to Erin and Sam, and thank you for choosing us to be part of it.
