Ros and Catherine, both NHS nurses, began their wedding morning in Paisley with Andy at the wheel of the classic white Beauford Tourer. From the moment they set off, the two brides had Andy thoroughly entertained with their chat, and the drive out towards Loch Lomond passed in easy good spirits.
Friends had travelled from all over to be there, which made the day feel like a proper reunion as much as a wedding. Ros and Catherine were so keen to arrive on time that they were, in the end, comfortably early, a happy problem to have on a morning as bright as this one.
Arriving at Cameron House
As the Beauford swept up the drive to Cameron House, the photographer was in full flow, working every angle like a paparazzo. A wandering tourist kept stepping into shot and blocking the camera's every move, which had everyone laughing rather than frustrated. It was exactly the kind of relaxed, warm-hearted moment that suits two people who clearly do not take themselves too seriously.
Waiting for them was a string quartet, the music drifting out across the grounds as the brides stepped from the car. Cameron House on the banks of Loch Lomond is a setting we love, and it suited Ros and Catherine perfectly, elegant without ever feeling stiff.
The white Beauford, with its 1930s lines, ribbons and silk flowers, made the ideal companion for the day, a car with just enough occasion to feel special and just enough charm to keep the mood light. From the first mile out of Paisley to the final turn onto the drive, the aim was simply to get two brides to their venue feeling calm, cared for and ready to enjoy every minute.
Congratulations, Ros and Catherine, from everyone at Coopers Wedding Cars.
